Description:
I wrote this poem after the title. I usually have trouble coming up with a title for a piece I've written, in this case I had the title first, then wrote a poem around the title... You can find this poem in my self-published book "Variations"

Spoiled Soul

When I was just a child and
Spoiled my juvenile soul

I would never know the treasures
Of never growing old

Magical, skittish times
Splendor would always drown

Easing the summers by
With nearly a single frown

The energy that radiated
Beaming like the August sun

Powerful and sprightly
My life had just begun

I indulged in lavish splendor
In all my younger years

Reminiscing is bittersweet
Through all the nostalgic tears
