Purple Essence

Growing up amongst the wall
Reaching up where you can see
Standing up o so tall
Spreading wide to be free

The gentle fragrance caught
By the blowing breeze
Needing those to be taught
You are pretty but you are a tease

Felines try to walk amongst your crowd
Your strength sends them away
Your silence it is o so loud
Warning them as they want to play

You are not in any mood for games
When you know from deep within
That your smell it helps to fan out the flames
Of tiredness amongst the din

Your importance among the gardens
Shines out like no others does
For this there is no need for any pardons
As you reach up through the doors

Driving on like a speeding car
Ensuring your position is known
Out into the world wide and far
Sitting up in your purple throne
