Soul Speech

My soul speaks in poetry
In words and emotions
Passionately with heat
To the rhythm of its own beat
My soul speaks to me.
Loud and clear
There is no fear living there
Of what it cannot bear
The strength of my soul within is rare.
My soul speech is as deep as the sea
Its carefully worded calling out to me
Letting me know that it needs to eat
It needs to be fed with positive energy.
My soul speaks to me
In truth and in love
It forces me to see
Me for me not who I want to be
It opens my eyes and lays truth at my feet
All that was hidden becomes clear to me
Painting pictures that I can see
When words aren't enough to still me
Still,
These pictures force me to be.
