Poetry In Emotion

Curiosity

Curiosity rushes in to the spaces of time
That others do not know exist
Wanting to know the perpetrators of the crime
Pushing forward with their strong insist

Needing knowledge to fill their mind
Constantly pressing like a pen on paper
Filling up with words of all kinds
Spreading outwards like water vapour

Storms outpour from words that are found
Which were hidden when curiosity appeared
Silence broken with a loud sound
When at last the truth was heard

Flying onward to and fro
To free the unbounding child
With excitement building up to show
Why they are not to be free and wild

They say the cat was killed by her
The cruel and thoughtless one
To cause a pain so clear
Death becomes from such want of fun

Destruction to be caused by such a need
Madness of emotion to grow and fly
After all the goal that does succeed
From the wanting and knowing of why?

So when the curiosity does build inside
And the feelings of knowledge grow
Remember it is better sometimes to hide
Then to always be in the know.
