"Narcotic Nation" takes place in an alternate present, where all narcotics - street and prescription - are legal.

In a country torn by this decision, rock band Deus Ex Machina starts its first tour. When bass player and aspiring politician Ashe Brecken's fight to overturn legalization is sabotaged, he turns to someone he's long despised to assist him in making a statement - with deadly results. This band of musicians and friends find themselves front and center in a fight to change not only the nation, but the world. . .but at what cost?
